This piece which was originally written for and performed by the George Mason University Chorale, is based on the poetry of Emily Dickinson. The text emphasizes the feeling of change and how it affects us. In writing this, I wanted to create a sense of instability before landing somewhere that felt firm, representing the feeling of being lifted off the ground and returning in our descent.
